Les Menuires is situated in the beautiful Belleville valley a few miles up the valley from St Martin de Belleville. Ski holidays in Les Menuires offer a quiet, inexpensive base from which you can explore the Three Valleys, linking to the ski resorts of Val Thorens, Meribel and Courchevel.
Les Menuires is split into 6 areas that are linked by a free shuttle bus that runs all day every 20 minutes. La Croisette is the heart of the village with the most shops, bars and restaurants; Reberty 1850 has a few shops and restaurants and is where the Bruyeres bubble lift goes from, Reberty 2000 is quieter with a supermarket, ski hire shops and ski schools. All of the areas have great access to the slopes and the lifts.
The range of pistes and itineraries is huge and you are very well positioned for accessing the Three Valleys. There are numerous snow gardens, magic carpets and beginners areas so children and beginners are very well catered for.
As well as skiing, you can go snowshoeing, swimming, toboganning or ice-skating during your ski holiday in Les Menuires, there are also classical concerts, a cinema showing films in English and cultural activites on a regular basis.
Being purpose built Les Menuires offers real skiing convenience, almost every building is on the piste but it is not a picturesque alpine village. There is a good mix of self-catering accommodation, hotels and a few chalets. There is no shortage of bars, restaurants and nightclubs, however if apres-ski is one of the priorities of your skiing holiday you may find it a little quiet compared to some other resorts in the Three Valleys.
Snowbird operates ski transfers from Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble and Chambery airports.
